Rawayana will demonstrate why they are one of the most important reggae bands on the other side of the pond. The Venezuelan band, founded in 2007, became famous after releasing their album ‘Licencia para ser libre’ and their singles ‘Fuego azul’ and ‘Algo distinto’. The fusion of ska, reggae, funk, soul, rock and Latin rhythms are the ingredients of the quartet’s music. They have shared the stage with Viniloversus, La Vida Bohème, Los Mesoneros, Melendi, El Cuarteto de Nos and Los Mentas, and have released five albums to date.
Baiuca, a Galician musician and producer who fuses electronic music with traditional sounds from Galician culture. His music has been described as ‘folk electronica’ or ‘deconstructed traditional music’. Baiuca has released several singles and two albums, ‘Solpor’ (2018) and ‘Embruxo’ (2021), which have received positive reviews for his ability to effectively fuse electronic elements with the traditional sounds of Galician bagpipes, percussion and singing.
