On September 19th, LAST TOUR defended its work: Advocacy for a new Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 18 in Culture + Creativity. Keys to activate Best Practices in Sustainability within the Creative and Cultural Industries – LAST TOUR case study at the prestigious international ODS 2023 Summit held at Columbia University (NYC). In this edition, for the first time, a chapter dedicated to culture was introduced. This is an action research that advocates for a multi-actor and collaborative approach for the rapid and radical implementation of the 2030 Agenda throughout the value chain of @Lasttour, promoting inclusive and sustainable initiatives grounded in tangible actions with all stakeholders and key players. As part of the global BCorp community, LAST TOUR continues to assess its work in terms of compliance with social and environmental impact standards. It joins the call to the United Nations for a new SDG focused on culture and creativity, under the hypothesis that this would strengthen the power and credibility of the Agenda by connecting it through the significant intangibles of music and culture with universal emotions and values.
