MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR: In 2024 the festival starts earlier and meets its community in various locations in the Lisbon metropolitan area
MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR takes place between July and August, with various experiences and lots of music, before the official start of the 3rd edition of the festival
The MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR program – which aims to bring together the WE ARE MEO KALORAMA community in several unique events leading up to the festival – kicked off on June 25 with the Press Conference that took place at Cais das Colunas and where the full line-up for the 3rd edition of the festival was presented, as well as other news, namely the partnership with the navegante® card, which allows discounts on the purchase of the 3-day pass and the day ticket (see here). The moment was marked by the performance of Unsafe Space Garden, one of the bands on the MEO KALORAMA line-up, who gave a unique performance with messages of positivity and inclusion, using their famous posters, megaphones and circus interactions.
The months of July and August will be followed by various actions that promise to involve the WE ARE MEO KALORAMA community and will act as a countdown to the much-anticipated festival, which takes place on August 29, 30 and 31 in Lisbon’s Parque da Bela Vista. On July 19, next Friday between 7pm and 10pm, the El Corte Inglés Gourmet Experience will host the second MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR event. Musician EU.CLIDES and DJ Indi Mateta take to the stage to celebrate the most eagerly awaited festival of the summer. Admission is free and limited to capacity. Entries can be made here.
On July 24, the bandstand at Jardim da Parada, in Campo de Ourique, will be the stage for the 3rd MEO KALORAMA SLOW DOWN event, starting at 16:00. In one of the most iconic places in Lisbon, the public will be invited to interact with the artist Miguel Magalhães. It will be an intimate experience, a proposal from MEO KALORAMA to enjoy a moment without time, taking place slowly, seeking an encounter with what is most genuine in musical sharing. On July 30, those who travel around the city by public transport between 11.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. will be surprised by MEO KALORAMA ON THE MOVE. D’Alva will be invading some of the transports and bringing music and a good mood to those who opt for more sustainable mobility.
Just over two weeks before the doors open, the Sunset Beach Party Swara, on August 10, closes the cycle of MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR events with a performance by Filipe Karlsson, at 6:30 p.m., followed by DJ sets by Carl Karlsson, Kyle Quest and Guy Proenza. All events are free and limited to the capacity of the venues.
